Coaching for Life Changes & Career Transitions

WHO I WORK WITH

I work with individuals navigating career and life transitions who want clarity, confidence, and alignment. Coaching is forward-focused, helping you make intentional choices, take actionable steps, and achieve your next goals. Unlike therapy, coaching emphasizes planning, execution, and measurable progress rather than processing past experiences.

Common challenges my clients facE

  • Uncertainty about career direction or feeling professionally stuck.

  • Overthinking, difficulty making decisions, and trouble following through.

  • Struggling to set boundaries or assert needs.

  • Difficulty communicating effectively in professional or social settings.

  • Challenges forming or maintaining meaningful professional, platonic, or romantic relationships.

  • Balancing personal goals with external expectations.

  • Feeling misaligned or unclear about priorities in work and life.

  • Stress or confusion around financial planning and autonomy.

For many clients, these challenges intersect with identity and life narrative. Coaching provides a structured space to examine patterns, clarify goals, and take purposeful action.

MY APPROACH

Coaching is collaborative, structured, and practical. As a former advertising professional turned therapist and 2nd generation Taiwanese American living overseas, I understand how achievement, autonomy, culture, and belonging intersect. Our work may include:

  • Clarifying long-term direction and creating actionable plans.

  • Developing accountability and follow-through.

  • Identifying patterns such as people-pleasing or perfectionism that impede progress.

  • Strengthening boundaries to protect your energy and assert needs.

  • Improving communication in professional and social contexts.

  • Building confidence in relationships—professional, platonic, and romantic.

While we may briefly explore internal narratives, coaching remains forward-focused. My style is warm, direct, and steady, providing perspective and structure while encouraging independent thinking and responsibility.

What CLIENTS SAY

“I gained a new career. I'm doing something that makes me happy. I learned how to communicate with my family. I learned a lot about myself and I'm still learning.”

“Diana helped me develop a friendlier inner voice and realize the tendencies and patterns I was repeating, and begin to relate to them in a healthier, kinder, and more patient way.”

“I've learned what I need to feel safe and confident, and I've learned how to find internal validation rather than looking to others.”

HOW COACHING WORKS

Coaching is goal-oriented and collaborative. Together, we identify a specific transition or objective and create a structured plan. Sessions are conducted via video and often shorter-term than therapy, typically weekly or biweekly. If deeper emotional processing is needed, we will discuss whether therapy is a better fit.

SCHEDULING

Many clients begin with weekly sessions to establish direction and traction. Frequency may later shift based on progress and goals.

Rates

  • First 60-minute session: $365

  • Subsequent 45-minute sessions: $275

  • Payments accepted via Zelle

Please note that coaching is not covered by insurance.

30-Minute MENTAL HEALTH Career Consultation – $100

For individuals exploring a transition into the mental health field, I offer a one-time 30-minute consultation for $100. This session is designed for focused guidance and is appropriate if you are curious about mental health careers, graduate training, licensure pathways, or remote/international work. No ongoing commitment is required. Please mention this option when reaching out.

Not Sure Whether Coaching or Therapy Is Right for You?

If you are located in NY, NJ, or MA and primarily seeking emotional healing or trauma-focused work, therapy may be best. If you’re looking for structured support around career, relocation, relationships, financial clarity, or life transitions, coaching may be a better fit.

You are welcome to schedule a consultation to determine the right path.
