how do video sessions work?
I conduct all therapy and coaching sessions via video using Google Meet, a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. You’ll receive a calendar invitation with a video link; just click it at your scheduled time. Before we begin, I’ll share a few guidelines to help you feel prepared and get the most out of our sessions.
WHO CAN YOU WORK WITH?
THERAPY:
Therapy is a regulated service, and I am licensed in New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. This means you’ll need to be physically located in one of these states at the time of our session.
COACHING:
Coaching is not bound by the same licensing restrictions, so I’m able to work with clients worldwide.

How long are sessions and how often will we meet?
The initial session is 60 minutes, and ongoing sessions are 45 minutes. We typically start with weekly sessions, and can adjust the frequency over time depending on your needs. We’ll also find a consistent time that fits your schedule.
What can I expect during the Consultation and First session?
The consultation is a chance for us to see if we’re a good fit. We’ll talk about what’s been coming up for you, what you’re hoping for, and any questions you have about the therapy or coaching process, logistics, or my approach. If it feels like a good match, we’ll schedule your first session. In the early sessions, we’ll explore your concerns more deeply—looking at both underlying causes and what may be keeping them in place. This helps guide our work moving forward.
Do you accept insurance for therapy?
I’m not in-network with insurance plans, but I’m considered an “out-of-network” provider. Many plans offer reimbursement for out-of-network therapy, often covering 60–80% of the session fee. You would pay at the time of service, and I provide a monthly superbill (itemized receipt) that you can submit for reimbursement.
Insurance can be confusing to navigate, so I’ve included a step-by-step guide to help you understand your benefits. I’m also happy to answer questions during the consultation.
WHAT ARE YOUR RATES And How do you accept Payment?
My rates for both therapy and coaching are:
$365 for the initial 60-minute session
$275 for ongoing 45-minute sessions
Payment is accepted via credit card or Zelle.
Under the No Surprises Act, therapy clients have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” outlining expected costs. This will be provided before starting therapy, along with additional information about what it means for you. More details about this law can be found here.
